NIPT VERACITY® is :
- a test by Medicover Genetics Ldt., a top European laboratory based in Germany.
- A targeted test that analyses the most common fetal chromosomal abnormalities.
- The test is non-invasive and poses no risk to the mother or the foetus and can be performed at any time
after 10 weeks of pregnancy. - It is suitable for singleton and twin pregnancies and for pregnant women who have conceived after IVF
with their own or donor cells. The test only requires a sample of the mother's blood.
NIPT VERACITY® uses the unique target enrichment technology and the new
generation sequencing. The latter allows it to analyse selected regions deeply and to accurately determine the fetal
fraction (the proportion of free-living fetal DNA in the mother's blood), which has a significant impact on the reliability of the
results - which is more than 99%.
